Project Spotlight: Lakefront Redesign

Every home has potential, and this large scale renovation became an opportunity to impress. The homeowners came to us with their own exterior elevation plans, second floor addition layout, design selections, and furnishings. We constructed a dream home. Heritage Homes & Designs not only constructed this home according to the homeowner's plans, but also jumped at the opportunity to redesign one part of the project...the kitchen. Originally a lakefront stucco basement rancher, this not only became an instant showstopper, but also an investment with immediate positive equity.

Project Spotlight: Picture Perfect Courtyard

Searching to make a way to enjoy the outdoors was difficult for this homeowner. These homes are constructed with private courtyards, and this end lot received a beating from the afternoon sun. We developed a plan that offered both shade and privacy. Creating a landscape boundary with different plantings offers peek-a-boos into the courtyard allowing neighbors a glimpse of the beauty while keeping the homeowners feeling covered. The Charleston style is echoed in the large pergola structure by bringing in details such as the tall shutters and standing fountain. This outdoor space will offer a wonderful area for entertaining
