Project Spotlight: Updated Classic Elegance

These homeowners were ready for a redo! Their outdated master bathroom was no longer a welcoming sight on early mornings. While these clients were ready for an update their style is still deeply rooted in a traditional flavor. They saved money by keeping the existing footprint and fixture locations, but splurged on the finishes. These homeowners were left with a beautiful bathroom to personalize with their own decorative touches.

Project Spotlight: Second Floor Repurpose

Sometimes all it takes is a fresh set of eyes. This small home had just come through foreclosure and was in desperate need of an actual master bedroom. What it currently had on the second floor...one 10x9 bedroom, one 8x9 bedroom, and a hall bath in between. Looking through design glasses we could easily see a solution. Moving walls, taking out an unnecessary hallway, and completely rearranging the space gave way to the perfect master bedroom space. This master suite now also has an adjoining master bath and walk-in closet.

Project Spotlight: Emily's Room

Personalizing a space for a terminally ill child is an honor that gives us an opportunity to make life a little sweeter. Precious Emily sat with us to share her love for blue and lime green, creating art, her favorite bible verses, and above all making potholders! We worked to surprise her with her dream room. Filling two large ottomans with potholder loops she could use gave us the inspiration to take it up a notch and give her draperies a personalized twist. We created seven foot looms with custom loops to flank either side of her window. Emily required a custom bed system that would keep her elevated. She let us know that she always sleeps on her left side. Keeping that in mind, we crafted an original painting with her favorite bible verse that was aligned so she could view it while in bed. We framed and displayed many of her own drawings, and gave her closet doors with cork and magnet boards to continue displaying her work. This precious girl's mission was to spread the love of Jesus. We were honored to give that same love to her.
